Welcome to International School at Harris Park! We are excited to partner with you for a year filled with curiosity, discovery, and meaningful learning.
At International School at Harris Park, we believe learning about the world helps students better understand themselves and one another. Through authentic experiences, world languages, and global learning, our students develop the curiosity, empathy, and confidence to make a positive difference in their communities and beyond.
Most importantly, every child is seen, supported, challenged, and celebrated.
🌍 The Heart of International Studies
Our International Studies Program is woven throughout every grade level and every classroom. Students don't just learn about the world—they learn to engage with it. Throughout the year, students:
- Explore the people, cultures, places, and perspectives that shape our world.
- Develop curiosity, empathy, and respect for different perspectives.
- Build meaningful connections between their learning and real-world experiences.
- Discover how their actions can make a positive impact locally and globally.
🌐 World Languages & Global Communication
Communication opens doors to understanding. Students learn through multiple world languages, including Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, and computer science and coding—a modern language of creativity, innovation, and problem solving.
By developing these communication skills, students are prepared to collaborate, create, and thrive in an interconnected world.
💻 Innovation Through Computer Science
Technology is more than a tool—it's a way to solve problems, create new ideas, and connect with others. Through coding, robotics, engineering, and hands-on experiences in our Maker Space, students learn to think critically, innovate confidently, and design solutions to authentic challenges.

We believe every child has the ability to lead. Students set goals, reflect on their learning, share their thinking, and celebrate their growth. Student voice is an essential part of our culture, culminating in student-led conferences where learners proudly share their progress with their families.

Families are our most important partners. Together, we create a supportive community where every child can thrive. We value your partnership and believe that strong relationships between home and school are the foundation of student success.
To support learning at home, we encourage two simple daily habits:
📚 Read for at least 20 minutes each evening.
➗ Practice math fluency to build confidence and automaticity.
Your encouragement makes a tremendous difference in your child's success.
📬 Stay Connected
Communication is important to us. Every Sunday evening, you'll receive our weekly family update by phone, text, and email with school news, upcoming events, celebrations, and important reminders.
