The newly opened Daniel C. Vallez Family Education Center will offer High School Equivalency (GED) programs and English as a Second Language (ESL) courses to community members as part of the district’s mission to support families in the area. 

Registration for the GED courses will take place on August 22 and August 23 at 6:45 p.m. 

English as a Second Language class registration will be on August 29 at 10 a.m.

“We are excited to bring this opportunity to the local community,” said James Duffy, Chief Operating Officer for Westminster Public Schools. “This is the first of many academic, leadership, and life skills courses that will be provided through the Daniel C. Vallez Family Education Center.”

The ribbon cutting event for the center was held in June of 2023 with Daniel's two children in attendance.
